Dr. Debojyoti Chakraborty
PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST
Dr. Debojyoti Chakraborty leads the RNA Biology Lab at CSIR - Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, serving as a Principal Scientist. He earned his Master’s in Molecular Biology from West Bengal University of Technology and completed his PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology & Genetics in Dresden. After postdoctoral research at TU Dresden, he established his lab at IGIB. An award-winning scientist and EMBO Young Investigator, he is also an accomplished sitarist with international performances.
